DENVER REAL ESTATE PERFORMING WELL

Nearly 1 million square feet of new office space came online in the Denver commercial real estate market during a strong Q3 2015, according to CBRE. Between July and September, seven office buildings were completed in the metro area, while another 2.5 million square feet were still under construction.

“While we have a pretty active construction market, particularly in the office and industrial sector, it’s responsive to demand,” said Jessica Ostermick, CBRE Director of Research and Analysis. “It’s well within the realm of being absorbed.” Denver remains a healthy market, according to Sam DePizzol, the firm’s Senior Vice President, Office Brokerage Services.
